Di Grissell together with her husband Gardie and their close knit team, have prepared horses for racing under NH rules, hunter 'chases and point-to-pointing, winning hundreds of races at local courses from Plumpton, Folkestone and Lingfield Park to the more prestigious venues such as Ascot, Sandown Park, Kempton Park Aintree and, of course, Cheltenham.
Di, in her time a leading amateur rider, in addition to training has been a Jockey Club steward and is currently joint master of the East Sussex & Romney Marsh Foxhounds. So, you will appreciate that jump racing is a way of life in the Grissell family.
With the recent transfer of the licence to Di there are plans to expand the number of horses in training and new owners, whether transferring from an existing arrangement or contemplating the first step into owning a race horse either solely or in partnership, would be very welcome to visit Brightling Park to discuss the various options that are available.
